Maiden Moon Circles

Through body wisdom, creative expression, and shared storytelling, we nurture a space where girls are lovingly guided into womanhood. In these guided circles, every cycle is honoured, every feeling is welcomed, and every voice is heard.

Together, we reclaim the ancient art of mentoring maidens—where menstruation becomes not a burden, but a birthright of power, connection, and inner knowing.

A Circle to educate the wonders of our bleed...

The Maiden Moon Circle is here to provide our Maidens with the understanding and trust in the sacredness of menstruation, the importance of our womanhood, and its ongoing health. It is also a celebration of something that is often shied away from:

Your first bleed.

These Circles, held by myself with Mothers or Caregivers present, are guided by four pillars:

Health & Body Literacy
Reclaiming the language of our cycles, rhythms, and somatic wisdom—because a body understood is a body trusted.

Empowerment
We support our Maidens in learning about their cycle—from how they might feel, to how they can use this knowledge to their advantage, and what they can do to honour and support their bleed.
By doing this, we foster empowerment around menstruation.

Creativity
The menstrual cycle is also a creation cycle. By tapping into our creativity through arts and crafts, we invite learning into our bodies through expression and play.

Community

This essential need is something many of us are missing in our daily lives. Holding space for Maidens is a path to building community. These intergenerational spaces are where we can share, relate, and create together.

How it works...

The Maiden Moon Circles can be held in a number of ways

- These circles are for Maiden's of the age of 9-12 years, if a Maiden has already started their bleed they are still more than welcome to join and explore just how beautiful menstruation can be. Other Maiden's may have not had there bleed yet & this makes a great time to join a Maiden Moon Circle.

- Over a period of 4 weeks where we gather for a period of time & review one of the four pillar's each week

- A one off 3 hour circle where all pillars are discussed

- These can be held in community spaces or at parent's homes, sometimes its really nice to do this as a group of girls who already know one another and can feel comfortable at someone's house, changing the location across parents over the 4 week period if holding the circles this way.

- I will also be offering workshops in which Mother & Daughter's can book on, not necessarily knowing anyone.
