F U L L B L O O M

After the success of last years FULL BLOOM Retreat Day I desperately wanted to bring it back to bloom this year, this time around we will be celebrating Summer Solstice or Litha.

Full Bloom will be held within the sanctuary of 'The Farm at Avebury' just two days after Solstice has taken place.

Summer Solstice is on the 21st June & welcome's in the first day of Summer in the Northern Hemisphere.

If you know me, you will know that Summer Solstice means so much to me & I' am truly looking forward to celebrating with you all, the feminine on this joyous occasion.

We will begin the day with a Slow Flow. 

Using Yin postures to begin & softly ground us into the energy of these energetic, motivational months ahead. We then move through an embodied yang practice but slowly does it before we meet a little bit of fire to create warmth with the body & breath before heading back into a yin pose as we rest in savasana. 

I am beyond excited to have Danielle with us from Blue & Boheme Florist in Lechlade, Danielle joins our monthly circles so you may recognise her, Danielle will be taking us through a dried flower wreath making workshop where we can make our own crescent moon wreaths to hang inside or outside the home for summer and beyond. 

We couldn't have another retreat day without Jade from Jade's Green Kitchen. 

Jade's food went down a storm last year & was talked about at gatherings that followed.

I am hoping that the sun is shining as we have the wonderful garden to nestle down & eat within.  

After lunch we have the option to take a walk in nature to one of Wiltshire's landmarks, The West Kennet Long Barrow.

The barrow dates back to before the famous circle of standing stones at Stonehenge!

Constructed around 3400 BC, the barrow is one of the oldest of the elements included in the Avebury and Stonehenge World Heritage Site.

Just a 20 minute walk from where we are based at the farm. 

Or if you'd rather bask In the sunshine in the farms flower garden I'll be suppling an abundance of chunky candles to be painted on to honour the passionate, creative element of Solstice. 

Optional as you may want to just sit down with a book (I'll provide a load or bring your own!)

We then come to our Summer Solstice or Litha Sisterhood Gathering. 

Sat in circle around an altar space, this is a time for us as women to honour our sacred selves, incorporating the Solstice by using crystals in ritual, visualisations, journaling, & meditation to  make space in our hearts to feel held & ignite your inner passions. 

Of course we have the option to share in a safe contained & positive space, as always the element of sharing is completely optional. 

Words spoken in the circle, stay held within the circle. 

As the circle closes we take rest with a Yoga Nidra & added sound to send you on your merry way into the evening.

I have a 'Buy one ticket for two' option which is split between yourself and a friend/loved one/anyone!
